Liv is known for her commitment to keeping the spa and clinic clean, calm, and welcoming to help create an enjoyable environment for every visitor. Liv has 7+ years experience working in various spas, salons and clinics where she gained a diverse set of skills and interests to share with her clients at EyeSpa Komoka. After the successful launch of her independent optometry practice Komoka Optometry, Dr. Christina Chan is expanding her team and services with Eye Spa Komoka — a fresh concept for an elevated eye experience in beauty and health. From an early age, Dr. Chan knew she loved helping people and wanted to channel that passion into her own medical practice. After receiving her Honours Bachelor of Medical Science (with a double major in Pharmacology, Toxicology and Physiology) from the University of Western Ontario in her hometown of London, Ontario, Dr. Chan went on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2011. As a Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Chan makes it her goal to care for her clients by building strong relationships and treating each patient like family. She’s based her practice on her commitment to ensuring your eye health and vision is well cared for by taking the time to get to know you and understand your unique needs on a personal level. Having grown up down the road from Komoka, Dr. Stephanie McLellan is thrilled to have the chance to connect with and serve patients close to her hometown. She is passionate about her career in optometry and is always looking for ways to continue to learn and grow with her patients. Dr. McLellan spent three years living and training at the National Ballet School in Toronto, before pursuing a career in vision science. Dr. McLellan attended the University of Western Ontario and then received both her Bachelor of Vision Science and her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University in Florida (where she won the Pioneer Ophthalmic Primary Care award for excellence as a clinician). Dr. McLellan has a special interest in Sports Vision and binocular vision disorders, and has provided vision screening for Special Olympics athletes and assisted participants in the Lighthouse of Broward County’s Yoga for the Blind. Dr. McLellan is driven by her goal of having a positive impact on every patient she sees by making them feel heard, well taken care of and comfortable.

With over a decade of nursing experience and a passion for helping clients achieve healthy skin, Michelle Liu is thrilled to join the innovative work culture of Komoka Optometry and EyeSpa Komoka. Michelle has earned a Bachelor of Science with honours from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. In 2017, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Western University in the primary care nurse practitioner program. After becoming a nurse practitioner in 2017, Michelle worked at multiple primary care clinics in London, Ontario while also training in aesthetics medicine in Toronto. In 2023, she joined EyeSpa Komoka as the Medical Director and a Botox injector and has plans to expand her service offering into filler injectables. Michelle is board-certified by the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine. She also has certifications to treat using different types of neuromodulators and dermal fillers and to practice various aesthetic treatments using lasers and energy-based devices. She’s driven by the belief that aesthetics can help build confidence and firmly believes in continuous education to sharpen her skills to bring the most advanced techniques and treatments to her clients.
